The best prayers are dangerous

08.17.2025 Have you ever prayed a prayer so bold it could change your life? In this message, Pastor Nick kicks off our new series Dangerous Prayers with the prayer of David from Psalm 139:23-24: “Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” Discover what happens when you invite God to search your heart, reveal your fears, uncover sin, and lead you into His way. This message will challenge you to move beyond safe, comfortable prayers and step into life-changing faith.

08.31.2025 Pastor Nick shares how he and Becky faced a “stay or go” moment on a whiteboard in Oklahoma, every reason to stay was rooted in fear, but God called them to trust Him and move to Denver to start Go Church. That same choice is in front of all of us: will we stay where it’s safe, or move forward with God? Jonah said “I’m not going,” Moses said “Send someone else,” but Isaiah said “Here I am, send me.” This message challenges us to step past fear, trust God’s presence, and pray the dangerous prayer: “God, send me.”

08.24.2025 Have you ever judged something before you tried it? Pastor Nick shares how his first experience with Indian food became a lesson about how often we do the same with people. From Acts 10, we see God break Peter’s categories and reveal that the Gospel is for everyone. This message is a dangerous prayer: God, break me. Break my categories, my table, and my pride. When God breaks what holds us back, He builds His community. The challenge this week: share a meal with someone outside your circle and see how God moves.
